How To Guarantee Failure
In Your OBA Business

If you insist on failing, let's not waste time!

Don't read.
Don't participate in the OBC.
Look for "a better way".
Focus on making money.

That's all there is to it.

Any one of those will guarantee your failure. Any two of them will accelerate your failure. Any three of them will guarantee that you never even get started! And all four of them will cause you to waste your time and lose more money... again.

Why?

Let's look at them one at a time...

To Guarantee Failure... Don't Read.

OBA is an Internet-based business and like it or not, the Internet is 99% text. If you don't like to read, get over it. Read. Otherwise you'll never learn what you need to know. It's as simple as that. If you jump out of a boat, you'd better start swimming. If you want to build this business, you'd better start reading. (And don't stop!)

To Guarantee Failure... Don't Participate in the OBC.

Your participation in the OBC (Owner's Business Center) is critical. It's your most important business-building tool. Not only will you find other people who will answer your questions, but you'll also be able to keep pace with new developments in your business, learn about new tools and resources as they become available, and be able to evaluate and make adjustments in your marketing based on the observations of many other people who are building the same business you are. What could possibly be more valuable than that?

OK... there is one thing that could be more valuable than that.

It's the way you're perceived by the Business Owners in your group. When they visit the OBC, will they see you asking questions so you can be better prepared to help them when they need help? Will they see you answering other Business Owners' questions when you can, so they'll feel comfortable asking you their questions? Will they see you as someone who others look up to... a Leader?

Or will they see you as... absent... unconcerned... and uninformed?

Are you willing to try to build your business with a bunch of Business Owners who simply mirror your level of commitment?

No? Then you'd better step up and get serious, because that's exactly what's going to happen. Your Business Owners are going to do exactly what they see you doing... good or bad. That's the way people are.

If they don't see you in the OBC, they'll see that as apathy... and you'll get apathy in return.

If they see you in the OBC, they'll respect you for your Leadership... and you'll have a strong group with Leaders.

Don't believe me? Then answer this question...

Why would I even mention it? What have I got to gain by giving you bad or misleading advice? Believe me, it would be MUCH easier for me to just not mention it.

But it's important so I want you to know about it.

Hey, I didn't invent human behavior... I've just learned to use it to my advantage. You should too.

Do yourself a favor and get in the habit of participating in the OBC.

To Guarantee Failure... Look for "a Better Way".

Think you have a better way? Determined to try what worked for you in the past?

Before you get started, let me ask you a question...

If it worked for you in the past, why are you starting over again here?

If it worked for you somewhere else, if it helped you succeed before, then why aren't you still involved in that successful business?

Here's why... It's because that business wasn't designed for YOU to succeed. It was designed for the owners to succeed. You felt like you were succeeding... you felt like things were working... but you ended up empty-handed again because that's how the program was designed.

So the "better way" that was working for you wasn't really working for YOU... it was working for THEM!

Do yourself a favor and don't try to apply what failed elsewhere to your OBA business. I want YOU to succeed. This business is designed for YOUR success. Don't shoot yourself in the foot by bringing old habits into your new business.

To Guarantee Failure... Focus on Making Money.

When you focus on making money, you can't focus on helping others... and helping others is the only way to make money.

To achieve success, you MUST take your eyes off of your needs and focus on the needs of others.

It's that way in every successful business! The business owner who is best at meeting the wants and needs of his customers is the one who moves ahead the fastest.

It may seem strange at first, but learn to spend 100% of your time and energy helping other people achieve their goals and you cannot fail.

Focus on making money and you cannot succeed.

OK... so what are you going to do now?

Get into the OBC and read. Ask questions and answer questions. Learn what's working for others and use what you've learned... then teach what you've learned. Find out what your Business Owners need and then find a way to help them get it.

Learn success. Create success. Teach success.

And make sure everyone in your group reads this page!
